If you like dragons, you’ve come to the right place because this simple instruction is for those kids who like dragons and would like to learn how to draw a dragon. This instruction is just seven easy steps, so you will definitely handle it. To make your task easier, I mark each successive stage in red. This way you will quickly see what has been drawn in a given step. If you’ve used my instructions before, you know you’ll need a pencil, a piece of paper, and an eraser to complete this task. We will be erasing some lines so it is important that you use a pencil. If you want, at the very end, you can correct your drawing with a felt-tip pen and color it with crayons.

How to draw a dragon – instruction
Remember that in each step, newly drawn elements are marked in red. That way, it’ll be easier for you to follow me. Once you’ve got everything ready, you’re good to go.
Time needed: 10 minutes
In this post, I will show you how to draw a dragon.
- Circle and heart.
At the top of the sheet, we draw a small circle, and next to it, a little smaller heart. Surprised? You’ll see what comes of it in a moment.
- The belly of a dragon
Connect the shape of the heart and circles with two lines. Draw a third between them. From the circle on the right, draw an S-shaped line.
- We draw the tail and torso of the dragon
Now, on the other side of the circle, we draw a similar shape – this will be the back of the dragon. End the shape with a sweeping tail. Draw two caps on the face.
- How to Draw Dragon Eyes
In the circle of the head, draw the dragon’s ear and eyes. At the bottom, draw a giant paw for the dragon.
- We draw the claws of a dragon
Now it’s time for the dragon claws and the other leg. First, draw three circles at the end of the legs.
- Dragon paws
From the circles you drew, draw triangular claws. In the center of the torso, draw two paws, and on the back, start drawing a wing.
- Important details
We finish the wing. Make the dragon triangular protrusions along the entire length of the body and tail. Draw them on your head too. Make a pair of horizontal lines on the belly.
