How to draw an owl? – instruction
To make your work easier, I mark the steps in red so that you know what you need to draw and how it should look exactly. If you’re ready, let’s get started!
In this post, I will show you how to draw a simple owl.
- First step
We start drawing with two circles. The shape at the top resembles a bean – it will be the head of an owl. Below, make a larger round circle, i.e. the owl’s belly.
- Drawing owl wings
Inside the beans, draw a second, smaller one, and on the sides of the tummy, draw two teardrop-shaped wings.
- Draw the owl’s beak and feet
Now draw an owl’s beak in the center of the head. Make two protruding bows from the beak. Draw the feet at the bottom of the belly. Each handle consists of three rollers. Simple isn’t it?
- Big eyes of an owl
Now it’s the turn of the two big owl eyes. Then draw the owl’s ears just like me.
- Step five – we draw feathers on the stomach
Now draw a circle on the belly and a few thicker lines in it – these will be the feathers of the owl. By the way, erase unnecessary lines with an eraser.
- Feathers on the wings of an owl
Make a few bows on each of the owl’s wings to mark the feathers on them.
- Coloring book ready owl
This is what the finished drawing of an owl looks like for coloring.
- Color the owl
Now it’s time to color the owl. I used brown and beige, but you can use completely different colors.
